Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Andrew Potash has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the treatment of imbalances of energy in the body using fine, sterile needles at specific points along channel pathways. These pathways, also known as meridians are related to specific organs and the points chosen will be based upon your specific symptoms. The needles are virtually painless and many patients are at times unaware that a needle has been inserted. Your treatment may include other forms of therapy such as cupping, Electoacupuncture (EA), and Tui Na.

Electro Acupuncture

A form of acupuncture where minute electric currents are passed between pairs of acupuncture needles through a device that generates continuous electric pulses. Electroacupuncture is especially effective in treating pain conditions and neurological disorders.

Cupping

cupping.jpgA form of therapy utilizing small glass cups to create suction on the skin and superficial muscle layer in order to stimulate the flow of qi and blood in the body. Many patients find that cupping relaxes and releases tension. Cupping is great for back and neck pain, respiratory issues such as cough and asthma, common cold symptoms, stress, and high blood pressure.

Tui Na

tui_na.jpgChinese medical massage which uses various techniques to stimulate acupressure points and meridians. It
regulates the qi(vital energy) and blood flow in the body. Tui Na treats muscle pain, digestive conditions, low energy and symptoms related to stress or emotional issues.

Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Lifestyle Advice

We often find it helpful to "coach" our patients on certain activities they should avoid or do differently to avoid aggravating their particular health challenge. Our goal is to help every patient achieve a fulfilling and happy lifestyle full of the activities they enjoy most. We recognize that each our patient is a whole person, and help them reach true health and wellness is a collaborate effort between our professionals and our patients.
